MUMBAI: The sensex on Wednesday lost 536 points to close at 71,357 amid profit-taking and weakness in IT stocks after a sell-off in the Nasdaq market the previous night. The sensex fell in three of the last four sessions as investors showed eagerness to take some money off the table after 2023’s strong gains, market players said.
